Kayla's birthday was an epic event. It started on Friday or maybe it was Thursday. Nona Donna arrived on Wednesday night and we spent Thursday preparing for the events of the weekend. Nona brought Kayla a baby stroller just like a real mommy stroller and a baby carrier. Kayla's dolls are riding in style. Kayla enjoyed her party with the littles on Friday. Ruby, Katya, and Orion came over for snacks and play. The big fun of the morning was watching Ruby enjoy a tipping cup. You go girl. The guests enjoyed pasta on Lightning McQueen plates. The afternoon was consumed by a photo shoot in the front yard and opening gifts from Grandma and Popi. The big event was on Sunday. I was surprised at the size of the party. The highlights of the day were bubbles it the backyard, Grandma cake, and lots of tissue paper. Kayla has taken to saying "two mama" when asked her age.
